“Life Changes in an instant”
“In the blink of an eye”
“Kids grow up so fast”
“Don’t blink or you’ll miss it”
“If they could just stay little forever”
are all the clichés that we say, especially when it comes to our children.
It seems just like yesterday that I was walking Quan to his K-5 class and breathing hard because I was pregnant with Brenttnie. Seriously, why are those two now 26 and 21 years old!
One day I was in the bathroom fixing my hair, Zion walked in to get something and passed the mirror. I looked at him and said “when did you get taller than me?” He said “momma I have been taller than you for a while.” How did I not see this before!
Ziya is on her way to middle school next school term! Wait! What!! She just had her first day of k-4 where she learned how to use scissors properly and thought it would be ok to cut 9 of her pigtails off!
Time really does fly by, in the blink of an eye. Our children grow, develop, and change so much; week to week, month to month, and year to year. That’s why it so important to photograph your children every year. Sure we take tons of pictures with our cell phones, I know I do! Those cellphone images are certainly great snap shots of our day to day, but they don’t take the place of professional images. Professional images are of high quality and made to last.
As I was growing up, my Granny had many photo albums and her walls were covered with images of different family members. Now that we live in a digital world, I think albums and wall images are fading at a drastic rate. I loved looking at the albums and hearing the stories about my relatives, the ones that I have met and the ones I didn’t get the chance to meet.
“Photography is the beauty of life, captured”
